Introduced Grant Safety Helmets. Helmets were made of unbreakable "GE lexan" The same tough plastic used in space helmets of the Apollo Astronauts and Professional Football teams. During the rebellious Sixties, Grant took a side into manufacturing motorcycle helmets, the most Notorious being the American flag style worn by Peter Fonda in the cult movie Easy Rider. |

First SEMA Show. Grant a founder of SEMA attends the first SEMA Show held at Dodger Stadium. |

In the Sixties, when drag racing became extremely popular, Grant built the famous "Twin Toronado", a twin engine drag car driven by John Smizer and a second car built for the street as a daily driver for President Grant MacCoon.
